We have developed a number of solutions around HiPortfolio, some of which are
knowledge-based, some of which are tools, utilities or fully developed
satellite applications.

Technical Solutions
- HiPortfolio Optimiser
The DBFS Data Extractor can be used to extract data directly from any HiPortfolio/2
or HiPortfolio/3 data files.
This is a tool with many uses, where direct access to data is desired.
For example: Clients migrating from HiPortfolio can extract all their data
into csv/xml files, or load into a data warehouse. This allows for legacy access to
data for query purposes once the migration is complete, removing the need for on-going
licences.
- Data Extractor
The DBFS Data Extractor can be used to extract data directly from any HiPortfolio/2
or HiPortfolio/3 data files.

The DBFS Console Detective is used to monitor the HiPortfolio console to determine
the state of specified console jobs.
This tool assists HiPortfolio Clients who have a reliance on the console and may
require certain actions to be taken on success or failure of a job.

- Report Extractor
The DBFS Report Extractor can be used to extract, reformat and deliver reports from any HiPortfolio/2
or HiPortfolio/3 installation. It will also support the new Oracle database proposed for
HiPortfolio in the future.
This tool allows a HiPortfolio Client to give Fund Managers and Clients secure access to
on-demand reports from HiPortfolio, without needing a physical login.
Report Extractor is built around Engage, DBFS's Business Process Integration platform.
- STP Process Monitoring
This is a framework which combines a number of toolsets and modules to allow the
central monitoring of transactions as they move through and between the various
applications comprising of the organisations STP process.
Includes transaction
and process monitoring, event alerting, information requesting and resubmission facilities.
STP Monitor is built around Engage, DBFS's Business Process Integration platform.
- Super Satellite
A solution aimed at reducing fragmentation and process complexity by
delivering all functionality not delivered by HiPortfolio, such as:
- Income reporting,
- Cash forecasting,
- Failed trade management,
- Exception monitoring,
- General ledger posting,
- Unit registers, and
- Valuation Comparisons.
